What printing, laminating, and binding services does the library provide?

Answer

The library is equipped with black and white printers on Levels 1 & 2 that are free for UC students, faculty, and staff. Users can print from library computer workstations on the corresponding levels.

Color print jobs are available for academic projects only. UC faculty, students, and staff can print in color at the library upon request. Please find a staff member Monday-Friday during business hours. There is no charge for printing academic projects.

Color printing is allowed for UC offices, organizations, and clubs for smaller projects up to approximately 50 copies. Projects larger than approximately 50 copies should be handled through UC Communications and Marketing.

The UC Makerspace has a Large Format Printer-HP DesignJet T630 for large print jobs and poster projects. The UC Makerspace is free for UC students, faculty, and staff only.

Additionally, there is no charge for students for laminating and binding services done through the Media Library for academic projects. Personal/nonacademic projects are not allowed.

Any departmental or organizational projects should go through the Communications and Marketing Department (see online form here).
