Do I have access to the public library in Williamsburg?
I noticed the UC Library doesn't have much popular reading, audiobooks, or other entertainment in its collection. Where do I find that?
Answer
Whitley County Public Library
A free community resource offering books, study spaces, and digital tools beyond what’s available through UC. With a library card, you can access popular apps like Ancestry.com, Libby and Hoopla, as well as resources like test prep and driver’s education materials.

How to Access
UC students can use their UC Student ID to register for a public library card. Visit the library in person, complete a short registration form, and staff will help you set up your account. Your public library login will be separate from your UC credentials.
Library Address
The library is located in downtown Williamsburg, about a 10-minute walk (½ mile) from campus toward the river, making it an easy visit in good weather.
